Gray Angelfish
Fish. Mostly solitary and territorial, gray angelfish are sometimes found working in pairs. At full growth, they are 25-60 cm (10-24 in) long and may weigh nearly 2 kg (4.5 lb).

French angelfish, Pomacanthus paru (Bloch, 1787), are common, and are found throughout the Caribbean. Like other angelfishes and butterflyfishes, French angelfish have tall, narrow bodies.
French angelfish exhibit apparently permanent, monogamous breeding pairs. During the spawning cycle, these pairs are highly territorial.

Juvenile form serves as a symbiotic cleaner fish, feeding on the ectoparasites of other fish species.
Portions of dorsal and anal fins trail beyond body mass - as is seen in most angelfish. Solid, squared (truncate) caudal fin. Juvenile form consists of a black body with three yellow bars.
