Salmon - member of the Salmonidae, a family of marine fish that spawn in freshwater, including the salmons, the trouts, and the chars.
Arctic char or Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus) is both a freshwater and saltwater fish in the Salmonidae family, native to Arctic, sub-Arctic and alpine lakes and coastal waters. No other freshwater fish is found as far north.

Arctic Char
Arctic char, a member of the salmon family, can be found in rivers along the north coast of the Northwest Territories and on the Arctic islands. Char are feisty fighters and commonly range in size from 2.3 to 3.
These species belong to a group of trout know as char. The other trout now in this state are brown trout and rainbow trout. Both were introduced to Minnesota in the late 1800s.
Featuring char-grilled burgers, grilled chicken, chicken nuggets, garden burgers, wraps, kids meals and Jack's own signature fries.
Lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush), like brook trout, actually belong to the char genus. Lake trout inhabit many of the larger lakes in North America and live much longer than rainbow trout which have an average maximum life span of 7 years.

There are a variety of fish that live in the Arctic Ocean but two of the more common species are Arctic cod and Arctic char. Arctic cod are the centre of life in many Arctic waters - many seabirds and mammals rely on them to survive.
Whatever fish species are most common including salmon, eulachon, tomcod, smelt, char, rainbow sole, whitefish, saffron cod and arctic cod, herring, shrimp, mussels and octopus.
Population
Just over 300 animals in Cook Inlet, Alaska.
Nutcrackers are typically a noisy bird with hars calls - char-r-r repeated a number of times.
