Adult Size: Can grow up to 5 inches in length. This frog is a yellow and gray color. These frogs are aquatic.
African clawed frogs have the ability to change their appearance to match their background. They can become dark, light, or mottled. They also have a lateral line system that is very sensitive to movement of water.
African Clawed Frog (Xenopus): This aquatic frog, can be kept in an aquarium with medium-sized, peaceful fish. Females reach 5" (13 cm), while males reach 3.2" (8 cm). Feed this frog live food.
