Atlantic Croaker
The Atlantic Croaker is a silvery greenish or grayish fish with coppery spots on its side and 6-10 small barbels on its chin. The underside of the fish is generally white.

Sciaenidae is a family of fish commonly called drums, croakers, or hardheads for the repetitive throbbing or drumming sounds by which they make themselves heard under water.
The Common Raven's scientific name, Corvus corax, means " raven croaker." Noted for their calls, Bernd Heinrich writes in "Ravens in Winter" how many researchers have studied ravens and their vocalizations.

Most of what scientists know about vaquita is based on dead specimens. The vaquita's diet-based on the stomach contents of one specimen-likely consists of grunt, Gulf croakers, and squid.
