Risso's dolphins are easily identifiable by their scarred skin. This is caused by other Risso's dolphins who use their front teeth when playing and fighting.

INTERPRETIVE INFORMATION:
Vinegaroons are nocturnal and have poor vision, relying on sensing vibrations to locate prey. Other common names include "vinegarroon," "vinegarone","grampus," and "mule killer."
