The leafy seadragon or Glauert's seadragon,Phycodurus eques, is a marine fish in the family Syngnathidae, which also includes the seahorses. It is the only member of the genus Phycodurus. It is found along the southern and western coasts of Australia.

The leafy sea dragon, Phycodurus eques (Günther, 1865), aka leafy seadragon or Glauert's seadragon, get their common names from the leaf-like appendages on the body.

There are two species of seadragon, the Weedy seadragon (Phyllopteryx taeniolatus) and the Leafy Seadragon (Phycodurus eques). Both seadragon species look like floating pieces of seaweed that can make them hard to spot in their natural environment.
