Lovebirds are lively flyers and climbers, and as pets they are enjoyed for these antics as much as they are enjoyed for their beauty and their affectionate displays to their mate.
Lovebirds, especially when kept individually or brought up hand-fed, make very good pets. Lovebirds can be very interactive with humans, and when comfortable around humans,
will willingly perch on human’s fingers and shoulders.
Lovebirds need a lot more than just seeds and water. In addition to a seed mix suitable for small parrots they require daily: fresh greens. Vegetables can make up to 4590 of the diet.
Lovebirds are small parrots with short tails, measuring between 13 cm (Madagascar Lovebird) and 15 cm, (Peach-Faced Lovebird). Their life lifespan ranges from 10 to 15 years.
Lovebirds are social, noisy birds that emit a high pitched and sometimes annoying chirp. They are constant chatterers and noise is a sign of contentment. The Peachfaced is particularly outgoing, even aggressive, and is often territorial.
Lovebirds, in general, are small, stocky versions of parrots and are considered "Old world parrots." They usually grow to about an average of fifteen centimeters long depending on care and diet.

Lovebirds are social and affectionate small parrots native to Africa. Their name stems from the parrots' strong, monogamous pair bonding and the long periods in which paired birds will spend sitting together.
Lovebirds have been spotted around the metro area, from Apache Junction to Palo Verde, from Carefree to Tempe.

i don't know if it was the lovebirds-pair that were fighting..or if was 1 of them fighting w/ the new 3rd Mockingbird. Anyhoo-they weren't injured afterwards..they just flew off. They really are the lovliest birds! ...
