Small fish such as minnows, mullet, pinfish, and killifish make up the bulk of this wading bird's diet. The Reddish Egret's foraging techniques are among the most varied and active within the heron family.
In Texas waters they eat fishes including tarpon, sailfish, sharks, speckled trout, pike, rays, mullet, and catfish. They are also known to eat anchovies, menhaden, minnows, shrimp, and eel. They eat about 18-36 kg of fish each day.

She also has a fluffy yellow mullet, black pearl necklace that is all askewed and purple checks. But it's her behaviour that makes me wonder. She gets a kick out of hanging upside down from the cage and swinging.

General Description

They mainly eat other fish such as mullets, anchovies, and groupers. The barracuda hunts during the day, using its sharp eyes to find its prey and long, sharp teeth to rip apart larger targets.
Diet
They feed on small tropical fish . up to 150mm (6 inches) - including mullet and sardines, and crustaceans. They may feed co-operatively as a pair.
For the birds on the Otago Peninsular, Richdale informs me that squid and small fish, yellow-eyed mullet and red cod, have been identified by him as part of the food of the yellow-eyed penguin.
Barracudas belong to the great order of Perch-like fishes, Percomorphi. Along with the smaller grey mullets and sand smelts or atherines, barracudas form the suborder known as mugiloids.
DIET AND HUNTING
The blacktip reef shark mostly eats reef fish. It hunts in small groups during the day. It commonly preys upon sturgeon fishes and mullet.

In fact, they will even perch on the pelican's head and wait for just the right moment to grab a fish! The brown pelican eats menhaden. herring, mullet, sheepshead, silversides and other fish. It also eats crustaceans.
The largest Australian skink is the Land Mullet of Northern NSW and south eastern Queensland. In Tasmania the largest species is the Blotched Blue-tongued Lizard and the smallest is the Delicate skink.
