Pike grow to a relatively large size: lengths of 150 cm and weight of 25 kg are not unheard of. A non-metric measurement estimates the size of the Northern Pike as usually over 1' and running to over 4', with a weight of 50 pounds.

Habitat and range
The northern pike is found throughout Minnesota. This fish can tolerate both cold and warm temperatures and can survive in some polluted waters.
Northern pike are primarily freshwater fish. The species occurs in most of Canada, with the exception of the Maritime Provinces. It is also found across Europe and Asia.
Adult northern pike range in length from 46 to 100 cm (18 to 39 in.).

Predators
