Red-footed tortoises require strong enclosures--the sides should be taller than the combined heights of the occupants, the floor area should be 10 times the size of the occupants.

Red-footed tortoises are omnivores, feeding on fruits, greens, plants, vegetables and dead animals it encounters.
Life History
After breeding, females bury 5-15 eggs in nests excavated in the forest floor.

Reptile eggs have hard or leathery shells and must be kept in warm, humid conditions.
Eggs: Boy or Girl?

I had originally thought that this was a Red-footed Tortoise G. carbonaria but thanks to both Adriano Jerozolimski and Janet Lawrence who have confirmed that it is, in fact, Yellow-footed Tortoise.
