Robin Song: The American Robin, like many thrushes, has a beautiful and complex song, and in contrast to other thrushes, its song is almost continuous. Its song is commonly described as a cheerily carol song.

Robins are found in woodland parks, fields, gardens, and even at the foot of mountain ranges. They like to perch in trees or hedges, singing their distinctive song early in the morning and grooming themselves.

The Robin is a small member of the thrush family and is brown with a rusty-red bib covering the face and breast. Its belly is white and it has long legs (not seen in this perched bird). Juvenile birds are finely spotted and lack the red bib.

Diet: Robins eat small insects, spiders, and worms.
Nest and Eggs: Robins' nests are cups made from grass and mud. Nests are built in trees and shrubs. Females lay 3-7 light blue eggs in each clutch (a set of eggs laid at one time).
