The Arctic Sea Gooseberry (Mertensia ovum) is more egg-shaped, flatter, and larger, 2" (51 mm) high and 1" (25 mm) wide. It occurs from the Arctic to the Gulf of Maine, and sometimes in winter to Cape Cod, and in central California.
