Colorado River toad or Sonoran Desert toad (Bufo alvarius) According to WCS, "Colorado river toads are found in the northern parts of Mexico, the southern parts of Arizona and New Mexico, and the southeast corner of California.
Characteristics The Colorado River toad is sometimes called the Sonoran Desert toad. It is three to seven inches long and is the largest native toad in the United States. It is olive green to dark brown in color.
