Wrasse - common name for a member of the large family Labridae, brilliantly colored fishes found among rocks and kelp in tropical seas.

Many temperate species in the genera Oxyjulius, Tautoga, Tautogolabrus, Semicossyphus, and Labrus can be found in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
