Tiger Beetles are most common in the Prairies, although a few species might be found in Northern or mountainous parts of the Province. These colourful beetles are most at home in dry, open areas and are especially numerous in the badlands of Alberta.

Cicindela sexguttata

Diet
Ladybird spiders hunt beetles and other spiders. They often catch tiger beetles, which are renowned for their aggressive and predatory nature.
