Status Five records. The first was closely observed by Alban Richard on Sable Island on 10 August 1979. On 27 August of that year another was photographed on Seal Island (I. and J. McLaren).

White-winged Dove Zenaida asiatica. Possible breeder. Uncommon in spring and fall, rare in winter, and occasional in summer in Gulf Coast region. In other regions, occasional in summer, fall, and winter. Found on farms and in woodlots and grasslands.
