Aponogeton ulvaceus: Suited for tanks 30 U.S. gal. & up, rapid growth. Echinodorus osiris: Excellent feature plant, provides red colored leaves, suited to 30 U.S. gal. tanks & up.
The Aponogeton ulvaceus is hemmed in by the hydros (#6 & 8) and the bog wood (the "*"s). The intent was to let it lean out of it's spot and over the wood. What I suspect may happen is that it will dominate 1/3 of the tank and drive the E.
I recently noticed one of my plants (aponogeton ulvaceus) had several leaves nibbled on, but I started feeding them spirulina flakes and have noticed no more damage. The girl in the pet store told me that this variety does fight a lot.
