Question: I recenty bought 2 new archer fish for my 30 gallon tank. I wanted to get more fish but I dont know what would go best with archers. Can you give me some advice??

Archer Fish - Distinctive, triangular silver body; has the remarkable ability to spit water at insects above the water.

The archer fish had a 'show' of their own. They were fed twice daily at set times.
A similar series of open tanks held coldwater fish.

Watch out for fish with specialized food needs - you should probably avoid these for now - fish like baby whales, knifefish, upside-down cats, butterflyfish, archer fish, etc.

All tanks were at least 2000 liters some of them were even larger at 3-4 tons There were archer fishes from Asia, too. As an former discus breeder I must say they were some really beautiful strains of blue turquoise discus in there.

The are four species of Archer fishes. Spitting at small insects that live up to 3 feet above the water line, they can actually dislodge a tasty morsel! ...

Some Puffers live best in brackish water and are best kept with other Brackish Water Fish such as Silver Needle Nose Gars, Archer Fish, Monos, Scats, White Tip Shark Cats, and the Fan Dancer Goby.

Live plants will be nibbled at by the fish, but will not be destroyed. Additional Comments The male can shoot water through his mouth and out of the aquarium, much like a Archer Fish. They are very sensitive to poor water conditions.
