There is the scat, sometimes known as the argus fish, Scatophagus argus, the monos, Monodactylus argentius and the larger, deeper bodied and less commonly seen Monodactylus sebae.
The Red Scat which is considered a subspecies, Scatophagus argus arromaculatus, is found only in Sri Lanka, New Guinea, and Australia.
