The community fish visible include: one angelfish, 2 gold and 1 pearl gouramis, a few common rainbowfish and a few boesmani rainbowfish, and a clown loach.
Or if we buy two adult Boesmani rainbows (Melanotaenia boesmani) to go with our dozen juveniles, it's quite likely the two will totally ignore the younger twelve and go about the business of attempting to intimidate or annihilate one another.
The visitors favourite appeared to be the Rainbowfish exhibit where the word huge does little justice to the size of the Red and Boesmani Rainbows housed here.
Begs at the front of the tank, very active, very agile almost acrobatic..and most of all, very peaceful. He lives in a 95 gal with 7 Boesmani Rainbows, tetras, gouramis, loaches etc.
They tend to like to chase and harass other fish, however I've observed mine trying to school with similar looking fish (with a black band down their middle) like my otocinclus cats and Boesmani rainbows.
