Gars with bristle-nose catfish....and the hybrid 'blood parrot' cichlid.
Tinfoil barbs and red devils....oscars and black tetras.
Tiger barbs were only 1 yuan each (US 12 cents) as were most of the other small fish.

In those species that are (especially the bristle-nosed (ancistrus) kind), the males have more "tentacles" on their upper lip. The females have fewer (sometimes none) of these protuberances.

I also have a synodontis catfish and albino bristle-nose pleco with them. Answers: Jason Jackson Answered: Because they caused the crime. And i do not care what race they are.

Two common types that are useful are the "bristle-nose plecostomus" and the "clown plecostomus" or Pekoltia. Both stay under 4″ long and don't seem to cause too much plant damage.
