PD : The Celebes Rainbowfish has a slender, elongated body with lateral compression. There are two dorsal fins, the first being very small.

Suitable tankmates are guppies, Celebes rainbowfish, mollies and the smaller glassfish.
Sexual dimorphism is unknown. They have been available for quite awhile in the aquarium trade and may be found relatively cheaper in price.
Same goes with Celebes rainbowfish, which belong to the Telmatherinidae (Sailfin Silversides) family. They should not be put with Rainbowfishes. Also, there is no "Australian" rainbowfish.
Possible Tank Mates: Livebearers, Danios, Celebes Rainbowfish, other Rainbowfish, Chanda, Halfbeaks, Brachygobius.
