Clown Knifefish are members of a sub-family called notopterids they develop distinctive dark spots on their sides. The Black Ghost Knifefish is a member of the Apteronotidae sub-family and the speckled knifefish group.
hes about 4 inches, has great color, and is making a great tankmate for my clown knifefish. hes also in the tank with a tiger oscar. believe it or not everyone is getting along. i havent tried frozen foods, but he seems to like guppies.
I have 2 clown knifefish. The first one eats beef meat while the other eats blood worms... I'm having a hard time feeding the other one because I want to train him for eating beef meat.
