In captivity Corydoras sterbai readily accepts a wide variety of prepared and frozen foods. Flake food is a good staple diet (which will only be consumed once it has fallen to the bottom) as are sinking pellets/wafers.
Corydoras sterbai, which is referred to as Sterba's Cory, Sterbai Cory, or Sterba's Corydoras, is a peaceful, bottom-dwelling member of the armoured catfish group.

Summary: Charles was advised that these fish spawn in water at 82F - warmer than other corys. A low pressure front came through the area, and this, combined with a water change, triggered them to spawn.
