PD: The body is elongated and the forehead is steep. Males are usually dark turquoise blue with six to seven navy blue bands.
A little more sensitive to water quality than other Malawi cichlids. This fish has quite a few morphs - Most will take on the name of the region from where they are found - sometimes distinguished by fins also (i.e. "Cynotilapia Afra Yellow-Dorsal").
