Farlowella catfish are excellent algae eaters for larger tanks. Do not feed your algae eating residents for another two weeks. Their job is to eat any algae as it appears. They won't do that if you make life too easy for them.

Breeding Farlowella Catfish is difficult. R: There are 60 described Farlowella species and correct identification is difficult. This species is very difficult to care for and is sensitive to fluctuating water conditions.
