Acestrorhynchus falcatus
SYN: Hydrogon falcatus, Xiphoramphus falcatus, Xiphorhynchus falcatus
PD: A somewhat elongated fish that has a large mouth and eyes. Its body is silver in color.

I have him in a tank with many different species, like the pink convict, freshwater barracuda, green terrors, etc. He loves to eat krill, bloodworms, pellets and hot dogs. They're a rare fish to come by and very aggressive.

The most distinguishing characteristic of this fish is the large, sharp teeth that are easily seen. Often referred to as the Freshwater Barracuda or Spotted Cachorro, this fish is a Characin related to both tetras and the piranha.
