Glow Light Tetras do well in enclosures that have temperatures between 74 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit (24 and 26 degrees Celsius). Soft water of a degree of hardness between 6.0 and 8.0 along with a pH between 6.6 and 7.0 should be used.

I have 4 glofish and one zebra danio. I recently added one glow light tetra and it was very calm. I thought these fish would get along, but now two days after I buy the tetra; I come home and my glofish had killed my tetra.... chad ...

They like to live with Black Phantom Tetra, Cardinal Tetra, Catfish, Ghost Shrimp, Glass Fish, Glow Light Tetra, Guppies, (Small) Honey Gouramis, Neon Tetra, Plecos, one Red Tailed Shark, and White Clouds.

For instance, the "Transparent" theme uses glass beads instead of gravel, incorporates bottles of different shapes as fish shelters, and suggests stocking the tank with semi-transparent glassfish and glow light tetras.

I have had neons for about 5 mo now they seem to do really well with other fish. I keep them with a bala shark, a male beta and glow light tetras and have not had any problems with them they all get along great.
