The green spotted puffer, Tetraodon nigroviridis, is a tropical fish found in India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand.[1] These fish can grow up to 6in (15cm). As their name implies, these fish are green with black spots.

Green and green spotted puffers will often get a fluorescent patch on their heads when especially happy. As mentioned before, puffers do change color periodically, so don't be alarmed if the color darkens or fades.
Fluviatilis are simply a variant of the Green Spotted Puffer (T. Nigroviridis). A true Ceylon Puffer should look like a cross between the Figure Eight Puffer and the Green Spotted Puffer.

The latter fish is the "False" Figure-8 puffer often called the Ceylon Puffer; the former is the Common Spotted or Green Spotted Puffer, at least in my local fish stores and generally in the USA. The "true" Figure-8 is T.
