It was much better at selling backgrounds than fish (and it wasn't even very good at that), until we happened to add a batch of Head and Tail Light Tetras.
They will chase, investigate, and play with other fish, especially the head and tail light Tetras and Bala Sharks. They don't nip, but they seem to have their own version of tag.
In this species, the caudal spot glows like copper-toned phosphorus, larger and more colourful than the closely-related and similar Head and Tail Light Tetra, with a black wedge below. There are two humeral spots, one also copper-coloured.
