Care: Julidochromis marlieri is best kept in pairs, since the fish are agressiv to other fish of their own (or similar) kind. They can be kept together with other Tanganjika cichlids.

PD: A fish similar in body shape to J. ornatus, although adults develop a hump on their forehead, and the lips are of their mouth are considerably larger. The caudal fin is fan-shaped.
Possible Tank Mates: I have had mine in with Julidochromis dickfeldi, Julidochromis marlieri, Psuedotropheus greberi, Sciaenochromis fryeri, and Labidochromis sp.
