The two julii Corys will almost always remain together but will hang out with the Bronze Cory on occasion, even though he is slightly larger.
This species differs from the Julii cory in having stripes, as opposed to spots. If you unsure of the species you have, look at the fish's side. If the spots on it are joined to form a long stripe, it is the three-lined cory.
The Juli Corycat, or Julii Cory Cat, comes from the tributaries of larger river systems in South America, and is a peaceful bottom dwelling scavenger. This species can be identified by its silver body with small black dots from nose to tail.

As I mentioned, it is commonly found for sale but rarely labelled correctly. Almost always labelled as Corydoras julii or simply as the "Julii Cory", that it is not . C. julii is a valid scientific name, but for a different fish.
