Khuli Loach - A relative of the Clown Loach but smaller and more elongated, almost snake-like. Grows to about 12.7cm (5") long and burrows in the substrate.
3. With only 9 Tiger Barbs, a Khuli Loach, and a pleco, there seems to be plenty of room for a few more fish. Do you know any good, hardy ones that can get along with my barbs, or should I just purchase more of them? Thanks again!!! ...
In my family tank we had a khuli loach that died when he was well over 10 years old and I suspect that these orange fins are nearly 7 years old.

Mixing large, active nocturnal fish with peaceful, diurnal fish often causes problems. Varies with species, from the ultra-peaceful khuli loach, to the boisterous clown loach, to the semi-aggressive yo-yo loach.
Responding to an earlier comment made: I agree that khuli loaches are best kept in communities, but they wont die if kept alone. My striped kuhli has been alone in my 30 gallon for a year and a half now.
