Origin: East-USA, populations in Europe exist nowadays, from southern Netherlands to Iitaly and Spain the fish have been introduced.

PD:An oval-shaped with with a laterally compressed body. The caudal penuncle is long and the dorsal fin is made up of 10-12 spiny rays.
