Liposarcus anisitsi SYN: Ancistrus multiradiatus var. alternans, Pterygoplichthys anisitsi, P. alternans, P. juvens PD: This Pleco is covered everywhere but the belly with large bony plates. The head is large, broad, and flat.
Some, like the Ancistrus dolichopterus, make their nests in caves of sunken bogwood, while others use crevices of stones, as Hypancistrus zebra does; and some others dig their nests in the mud of riverbanks as male Liposarcus anisitsi do.
