Aquarium setup: Tetraodon mbu (Mbu Puffer) requires a very large aquarium. Best kept alone. Good circulation and regular water changes (up to 50% a week) are required since they are messy eaters.
The basics for tetraodon mbu puffers which are very big and powerful puffers that also inhabit the middle and lower Congo. Can grow to 30" not 24". which is an important distinction when choosing the width of your intended fish tank.
The two foot Mbu puffer that I worked along side for two years clearly knew which colour shirt was going to feed him, and would follow us as we walked from the freezer with his food to his tank huge tank.
