My Cichlids Have now been in the tank for a year, and appear to have settled in fine. There is no serious aggression and even the leleupi are tolerant of each other.

The Orange Neolamprologus Leleupi Cichlid is a secretive cave spawner, and breeding is more difficult than most of the cichlids. This is a very slow growing species which may take a few years to reach sexual maturity.

SYN: Lamprologus leleupi
PD: An elongated cichlid with a characteristic bright yellow color and a set of large lips. The caudal fin is fan-shaped. The lips are a dark yellow, and above the upper lip is a fine green line.
Lemon Cichlid (Neolamprologus leleupi): True to its name, it is has a pure lemon colour all over its body. It is normally a peaceful fish, although it can be quite aggresive if there are too many fish in the tank.
The 15 gallon tanks are always full of plants and babies of Neolamprologus leleupi or various Julies (one species per tank).
