ORIGIN AND VARIETY OF PLANTS
The vast majority of aquatic plants are not taken from the wild but are grown by specialist firms.
When first discovered the original name for the Red Zebra was Pseudotropheus estherae. The Pseudotropheus genus (Regan 1922), contained a subgroup group of closely related fish described as the 'Zebras'.

Origins of the Siamese Fighting Fish

This colorful eel is one of the less boisterous morays in the market trade. It has a black and white striped body(hence Zebra) that is continuous throughout its lifetime.

The Auratus originates from the rocky depths of Lake Malawi. The term auratus means yellow or golden, which is also part of the scientific name for Goldfish (unrelated).
