OSTEOGLOSSIDAE
The Osetoglossidae or Bony-Tongued Fish family consists of two sub-families, Heterotidinae and Osteoglossinae; some four genera; and seven or eight species.
LFS's, small on line vendors such as AB, FD, AGA, Delaware AI, PG and others are not getting rich doing this hobby and help many folks out without being paid. We should really work and talk with the owners of LFS's about getting into the plant thing.

Betta Bleeker, 1850, is a large genus of small, often colourful, freshwater ray-finned fishes in the gourami family (Osphronemidae). The type species is B. picta, the spotted betta.
Like others in the Nothobranchius genus, the mature guentheri will reach about one and a half inches in length. Nothobranchius guentheri is quite beautiful. Their bodies are mostly green with yellows and red mixed in.
Relative to the others, however, S. multipunctatus is relatively easy to identify.

Semi-Aggressive : These fish are usually peaceful when they are small, but can become fin nippers or chase the others around the tank when they get bigger.
Night feeding with plankton from time to time appears to benefit this coral (and others in your tank too).
Place the coral towards the lower part of the tank.
While you may be fine with it, it may bother others sharing the space. The noise of a running filter or splashing water can be distracting, and can keep you awake at night.

Some are bright red while others are white or yellow. Some have black-tipped fins and tail with black lips, while others have thick rubbery lips.

Let Others Know!

Fish in the company of others may become territorial, even if they are a very peaceful species. Aquatic frogs are happiest when provided a place to hide and do not move a lot unless after air or looking for food.
Some fish prefer soft, acidic water, while others prefer hard and alkaline water. There are varieties that thrive in water with low mineral content, while different ones will become sickly in such conditions.
In time, a pair will form and they will seclude and become aggressive towards the others of the group. Unless the aquarium is very large, it is best to remove the other Buffalo Heads from the aquarium.
May show aggression towards others of its own species, especially if the aquarium does not provide refuges for each fish. Like most bichirs, they have a reputation for escaping from tanks, so use a tight-fitting cover. Will eat small fish.
Also remember to do your research sincce some Damsels are more aggressive than the others. When mixing species they will only be aggressive to a species that is more docile than they are.
Often the fish lose their appetite, but others may continue to eat and not put on any weight. Treat infected fish with metronidazole (Flagyl, Hex-A-Mit). You can treat the tank by adding metronidazole to the water, but oral dosing is more effective.
Others feel that any alteration of a living creature is an abuse of the power we have over life and consider it nothing short of biological pollution.
When a pair does decide to spawn, the male may decide that he doesn't like others in the selected area, and may become aggressive towards any other fishes in the tank. The eggs are quickly laid, ferilized, and scooped up by the female in her mouth.
To some this is good thing but to others, they may feel it makes the corals look unnatural. When setting up VHO you basically have two choices of ballasts. Electronic and magnetic or tar as it is commonly referred to.
