Avoid Painted Glass Fish!
These fish are not natural. They are regular glass catfish, with colored dyes injected into their bodies. It is a cruel thing to do to the fish, and makes them very prone to disease.

They sell what is called Painted Glass Fish (Kryptopterus bicirrhis) which is basically a transparent fish that is injected with colored dye. It is a cruel thing to do to the fish, and makes them very prone to disease.
Maybe some painted glass fish. I love those colors! Somebody tried to tell me that they were handpainted, and that they didn't come that way naturally. I didn't believe him. Who would do that to a fish? Oh, yeah. You need a diving sea dog too.
