(C. pseudobagroides) is a mimic of the catfish Pelteobagrus ornatus. However, that is another story... The two SAEs that I am keeping really do chow down on black hair algae.
These pretty little catfishes began to appear in the aquarium sometime in the 1980s, although the species was thought to be the one described in 1904 by the German ichthyologist Georg Duncker as Pelteobagrus ornatus.
