SYN : Rasbora leptosoma
PD : An elongated fish with a forked tail. The back is olive brown and the body is brownish-gray. The belly is white. The fins are all smoky-gray.
Red-line Rasbora ( Rasbora pauciperforata) of Malaysia and Indonesia are different species with similar coloring. Glowlight Tetras are readily available and are usually very inexpensive.
We went down to the stream and found Puntius hexazona, Rasbora kalochroma and Rasbora pauciperforata. We moved into a deeper part of that area. There was no human settlement along these roads.....it seemed like a no man's land.
