The Redtailed Shark is an aquarium favorite. Of course, they are not true Sharks. They are Cyprinids in fact, like Goldfish and Carp. The body of the fish is jet black.
Also, you might want to lose the redtailed shark - the fishes defend themselves by hiding, and if a fish manages to enter the shell and starts eating on the hiding fishes, they wont defend themselves or leave the shell.
The rich green colour of the leaves against some dark wood is beautiful. This was the first plant I planted in my tank. They are extremely slow growers but they seem to withstand almost anything! My Redtailed Sharks love them too.
