Rosy Red

Aquarium Rosy BarbRosy Red Minnow

Comments: They have feeder goldfish and rosy reds, which I use for cycling tanks. They are often short-staffed, especially during busy hours. They no longer stock sponge filters.

This fish is a surprisingly aggressive little fin nipper, it should only be housed with fast swimming and robust fish, fish like Zebra Danios, White Cloud Mountain Minnows or Rosy Reds should be able to tough it out with them.

Feeder comets, rosy reds, and danios are all good choices for your first fish (depending on what type of tank you have). It is a good idea to also invest in test kits for ammonia and nitrite so you can monitor the progress of the cycling tank.

for 2 months)We have also noticed that our reds will not kill right away but they will let the live food know what is going to happen to them. We have noticed that our reds like fancy tailed goldfish,(the tail seems to get their attention).Rosy Red ...
