I have a red Scat about 2in. I ran across him at petco.funny thing is that he was not suppose to be at that petco. I'm new to taking care of this fish so any advise that you have would be great.. I read everything about them.

I have a silver scat in a community tank and he is fun to watch, but a big time bully. I have have two figure eight puffers and they are docile when said to be aggressive. The scat has already ripped off one of their fins.

Ominvore; A greedy eater that will accept almost any food: Most live/frozen food small enough to fit in the scat's small mouth will be readily taken.

On the whole, Indians like to keep the same species of fish as aquarists the world over, with livebearers and goldfish being very popular. One locally caught fish that I did notice all over the place however, was the scat (Scatophagus argus).
