I have four silver hatchet fish. I originally started with just two of them, and one refused to eat anything, and started to develop white patches on its top fins, I took it back to the pet store and bought three more.
I have learned more about the silver hatchet fish then any other hatchetfish. But when you have any type of hatchetfish, you should always have a net over your filter hole, so your hatchetfish will not jump out.
Of the fish that died, 2 algae eaters, one cat fish, a silver hatchet fish and one neon that is still MIA. Seems the bottom feeders were effected more. I added H2O2 at night, knowing that the hydrogen peroxide breaks down quickly in light.
