Anostomus anostomus
SYN : Anostomusgronovii, A. salmoneus, Leporinus anostomus, Salmo anostomus
PD : An elongated fish with lateral compression.
The Striped Anostomus is also known as the Striped Headstander or Cigar Fish. It is native to South America, inhabiting the rivers of Venezuela, Guyana, and Colombia.
