Tiger loaches are any loach with the Syncrossus genus. Calling a Clown "Tiger" is an insult to their peaceful, playful nature.

Avoid any of the tiger loaches. These fish have a bit of attitude and spunk, and are compatible with most community tanks. They are excellent for snail and fry control.

This fish seems to be more shy than my other Cichlids, yet my Tiger Loaches don't mess with this fish like the other Cichlids. I am hopeful that the shyness will go away because this is a beautiful fish to look at.
