Summary: Kevin hardly ever saw his dwarf croaking gouramis hiding in the plants, but one day he noticed some miniscule eggs in a few floating bubbles, which hatched into tiny black fry.

Trichopsis pumila
SYN: Ctenops pumilus
PD: An elongated, laterally compressed fish with a pointed caudal fin. The back is beige, as are the lower parts. A brown transverse stripe extends from the snout to the caudal fin.

Sparkling Gourami (Trichopsis pumila)
This is one of the smallest labyrinth fish available in the hobby, so it is suited to smaller tanks. It can be kept in groups providing there is enough space for males to have their own territory.
