I am a planted tank beginner so I make quite a lot of mistakes and killed many plants, but the bunch of undulated crypts I bought last year that lose all their leaves frequently are still growing new leaves.
Undulated Triggerfish (Balistapus undulatus)
As is the case with many families, a wide gamut of adult sizes, growth rates and temperaments makes generalizations difficult with regard to the minimum tank size.
Barclaya longifolia (orchid lily) 10-20" (25-50cm) delicate brownish or olive-green leaves, moderately-undulated margins. Likes warmed substrate and warm aquariums (75-82F). Foreground single plant. Often rots on transplant.
The margins of the leaves are undulated. Echinodorus martii is sensitive to nutrient defficiency, especially iron. This can be seen by yellowing between the veins on the leaf or in severe cases an almost white or transparent leaf.
This fin is undulated, enabling it to swim forward and backward. When not open, the Knifefish's mouth looks small. It can open quite wide, however, to eat small fish.

Echinodorus 'Oriental': New leaves are nearly transparent and pink, turning red with green veins as it matures. Fully mature leaves are dark green. The leaf margin can be slightly undulated.
